LoL Project – LeftOver Lovers – waste makes no sense!

From March 23rd to 25th we’ll be at IDENTITA’ GOLOSE conference in Milan, to present De-LAB and “LOL-LeftOver Lovers” our latest project targeting responsible restaurants and the catering sector: come and visit us at stand 67!

 

On the weekend of 23-25 ​​March, we will be at IDENTITA’ GOLOSE – stand 67 – to present the De-LAB project “LOL – LeftOverLovers” with which we will activate Social Innovation processes in Salento (Puglia) to reduce Food Waste in local restaurants.

 

De-LAB’s project will take place during the month of May, testing two Social Innovation approaches aimed at raising the awareness about food’s sustainable consumption.

 

Several strategies will be tested by the 20 restaurants who will explain to their customers the possibility to save the leftovers, so to diffuse virtuous behaviors among restaurants, clients and the local community. The goal is to improve the reputation of a territory and a sector that is willing to learn and to test how to manage local resources, food and sustainability, by implementing a pilot project to reduce food waste locally.
